Solution focused coaching - what is it and who is it for?
The key guiding principle of solution focused coaching is to help the coachee away from problems and toward solutions and future. In order to have the energy required to find solutions and make changes, it is important to become aware of our strengths and potential. As a coach, I will help you identify and find your personal strengths and potential in daily life and/or at work. Once your goal has become clear, I will help you map out the steps needed to take you towards the future you desire. The conversations are confidential and their content will not be recorded in any systems. If you feel that you would benefit from external support for some dilemma in life, solution focused coaching may be the right, positive step forward.
Solution focused coaching is a methodological process that is well suited for working both with individuals and groups. With individuals, coaching can be used as a tool for personal development in private life or at work, for example, to help individuals identify and reinforce strengths and help them work on areas that need improvement. Maybe your’re facing a change at work/in private life and you’re finding it hard to adapt, maybe there is a situation or relationship in life that requires too much of your energy and attention, maybe you’ve come to a turning point in life and would benefit from coaching. When working with groups, solution focused approach can be used to help develop soft skills such as team-working and communication skills, leadership, change management and conflict resolution and developing motivation and well-being at work.
